There are things in life that are not for us to decide. We can only do our best, to achieve that 80% while the other 20% is fate.

Decisions get harder to make as we grow as so many factors come to the equation and we are so afraid of making the wrong choice.

Would you go for the money that will lead you to a dead end? Or go for the stable one with less money but will keep your chances alive in case things don't turn out so good?

Why fate? What is fate? Fate is a function of all the DNAs in this world that makes things happen that affects you whether significant or not. It's the DNA that makes living creatures, and living creatures do things that affects other creatures, and the chain reaction goes on and on until it reaches you. The course of history has set the blueprint of what the world will be.

If it's not because of Alexander the great there will be no Hellenic; if it's not because of Qin, China is not China and Karl Marx's influence would not have infused into China and Russia which was set to go through the hardest period that will be caused by free market leaders like the US.

There's only one God, and many guardians. The DNA's evolution and mutation helped humans create religions and the acceptance to it. Who will dominate the world? Which race or country or religion will rule? You just have to go to the future, and do a reverse engineering of the world to come back to this point. Whoever succeeds in doing that, would be the only one who has went to the future and back.

In 2 years time, with increment and bonus and everything, your Salary goes up to RM 3,800 (more than 10 % per year), and property prices increase at a rate of 50% per year, do you think you can cope with this mad market where developers say it's because of the raw materials and all those bull shit reasons?

You won't even be able to buy a decent house in KL. Even in Seremban and Ipoh property prices are at the RM 250,000 range.

So now who do we screw? Some will definitely say the government, partly true, but if you're able to generate money on your own then that's a different story. We cannot be blaming the government all the time as no one government can satisfy everyone. Even if we complain so much what can we do about it?

I prefer to say take the opportunity and the loopholes in the law and govt policies to your own benefit, extend your network coverage and turn ideas into action.

So life is not easy. No one ever said that.

We spend 99% of time in our lifetime doing things for others. The other 1% we give it to ourselves to spend. Doesn't matter if you're an employee or a boss yourself you are here to work for others. It's just that the reward you get by being a boss is justified compared to working as an employee. You spend your weekends doing work for your company.

A balance is always ideal but life is just not that simple. I always wished that I can just chill and go for a movie or two, hangout at Starbucks of getting myself a pint of German beer and read over the weekend but most of the time I fail to do so. It's either there's office work to be done over the weekends, or there must be something that occupies your time. It's not like 2 years ago when I first entered the work force, being able to do more work means your boss looks up to you, and the work duplicates, replicates and repeats itself every week.

I am not that type who would sit and spend my personal time over similar things on work every weekend. If I'm not working means I'll be wasting time doing god knows what like sending the bloody car for a service, spending money on it just to be able to work on the coming months. It's been quite some time that I really had the opportunity to shop for myself and do what I like most. I'm beginning to hate doing things that I don't like but acting as if I like it. I hate being stuck in a jam, and I hate to drive. I wished that I could be driven around when I need to be mobile. I would like the world to do me a favor rather than me doing a favor for the world. I hate doing things that I can't get it done when I'm in the mood.

I'm sure you have worked with people who just don't give a damn. I'm sure you have friends who doesn't like to answer the phone or would just not return a missed call or a bloody message. Fuck you people and all the best to you when you need help you'll get shit from me. I remember and am not gonna fake that "I'm so good, let me help you", in my heart I'll be saying "Bloody hell you bastard cheebye, why the hell am I still helping you?"

And there are those who can't be independent and asks me every damn thing as if I'm an encyclopedia. You give them something to read they ignore it despite spending hours over the weekends developing something for them. I have shits to do and I have not enough time to do things, I will appreciate these people to give me some space to breath and stand on your own feet.

Then I get the nags on everything I do. I'm big enough to know what to do when I'm driving so stop telling me to stay far from other cars, not to tailgate, to brake and to put on the signal. Whether or not I put on the signal or drive recklessly it's none of your business. Deaf people would definitely be happy coz they will never be able to hear people nagging.

And some never change with the same mentality and pretending to be so damn generous when they are the most stingy ones. The topics every week are the same and it bores the shit out of me.

I would not mind living alone for sometime, I need my own space without any commitments and to take care of everything. The problem is when I don't take care of things it goes haywire and everyone loses direction.
And when you show authority over certain matters things don't get done and instructions get ignored.

I wonder how people could survive in this world with this kind of attitude.

And I guess this is my life having to deal with all these small matters that freaks me out. I don't wanna deal with small matters, I want the big ones. Throw it to me and I'll show you how to do it. And these people will regret one day when my name gets all over the news. I'll make sure I won't answer those people's phone call and reply their smses and when they die, it's their own business because I wont be there to help those who "didn't need help in the first place"

Just when you thought that things would be better as we progress, you only find it to become worse.

And that's where it makes us all stressed up. My philosophy of life is to minimize stress and do whatever is within my capability without jeopardizing relationships, with anyone, or the only one.

I know it from the drastic change from the way people treat me. Signs of behavioral change could be detected by speech, the way of communication when you don't get the response you anticipate, and the avoidance of certain questions that you expect the outcome.

Change is an irreversible process.

It's not easy to find the right, dedicated, passionate people to start something for the reason to explore and get out of the comfort zone and try to achieve something. Even if you found these people, the level of energy that they possess is another important factor to make it a success.

I hardly meet people with the same amount of energy I have. The only person I see that has more energy than me is my current boss who is a superwoman who can find time to balance everything out.

No matter how tired I am, the dedication is there for me to want to do something. I no longer like the idea of working for the same amount of hours for the normal amount of wage. I'd rather spend that much time or more to do something I find gives me more return, and subsequently spend less time to get more.

I just wonder how.

At some point of time in life, I just cannot agree to some characters and mentality, which sets friendship apart. Aspirations are different. Some just complaint, but they can't do anything. So why complain?

To me, a government is a government. Whoever rules, rules. And politicians cannot please everyone. There are bad guys and good guys on both parties, it's just a matter of time before people rise and democracy stands in.

Braces

Of all things, I've never thought that I would need braces. In other words, Orthodontic Treatment. I had one premolar extracted due to crowding that became a tripod that traps food end of 2009. The dentist did not even advice that it might cause movement of my upper jaw and now my incisors are not aligned. What a terrible dentist she was and I still had her do regular scaling and check ups. Sometimes all these doctors can be so money faced that all they care is about pulling out your teeth or making you to do a crown and bridge to earn more money, easy job for them.

It's very important that you get a patient dentist to advice you. Ask them questions and if they have no problems explaining to you, stick to them. But if you get a dentist who doesn't teach you things, or never give you alternatives, find another one. Unless you're damn sure of getting implants or orthodontic treatment done.

I deal with dentist day in and day out and have seen tons of them. I know who's who and what they are capable of.

So I got my orthodontist to fix my braces 2 days ago. I still cannot accept the fact that I'm wearing braces. I could not eat solid food right now as my bones are undergoing remodelling itself to shift place. Not even a piece of guava.

And I struggle to bite a small piece of apple. =(

That's the price for wanting to look better. And my treatment doesn't come cheap, I'm paying 6k for a self ligating braces, which means the wires will move automatically and I do not need the rubber O bands. But for the sake of getting it done faster I'll make myself go back every 3-4 weeks for inspection. Of course there are other alternatives like the lingual braces which cost RM16k, the Invisalign removable braces for 12-15k, and of course ceramic ones which will give more aesthetic value.

This is what I call, pay to suffer.

I have not had the time to think creatively what to blog about. I had made trips to Penang and Bali for leisure and somehow I just couldn't find time. It's just an excuse. For a good time planner, they could do what they want. I guess I have become more of an unorganized person compared to last time.

I used to clean up my table every week when I was studying. I cannot stand untidy table. I clean my room very often but not anymore now. I rarely have time to even read the papers. Heck.

Where did my life went to? Who did I give my life to?

Work! God damn work.

Seriously, I dont get the rationale of having to do work out of business hours when I'm supposed to be living my life, not the work life. There are times when you feel that you are doing way much more and sacrificing way ahead of what you're getting paid for. I don't mind working hard if it was my own business, at least I reap the fruit of labor, even if I have to work 24 hours a day. Taking a fix pay is just not balanced.

Don't get me wrong. Not everyone thinks that way. If a person who just wants to take fix salary and does not want to move ahead the corporate ladder, then working is just for the sake of living a boring life. People like me wants to climb up high, hence the extra effort that I have to put in. Fortunately for me I am a trained scientific person and I'm pretty good with numbers therefore I can handle the commercial field. And being in this job taught me alot about the little things that we take for granted. It's always the little things that matters.

The Life I Never Had

Everyone wants a life that they don't already own. The poor wants to be rich; the rich wants to try things they don't normally have; The famous wants privacy and the commoner wants to be known.

I guess at times of life we think this way. We always get what we don't really want do we? Years back before I could even drive I use public transport. When I needed the bus it wont come; and when I don't need the bus, they come so frequently. Same goes for the taxis. It's some sort of like playing a fool with you.

I learn how to not wish for the things I want the most, and I believe it will come naturally. I do believe in, the harder you try, the more you won't achieve something, and the harder you fall. It's always best to be yourself the natural way you are. I have met people who are not destined to make it big yet they want to act as if they are living the high life. I have also met people who are so inferior that they try to hard to prove themselves to others that they are not weak. They are also selfish people who pretends to be generous in order to make use of people for their own gains.

I wish to have a life of many ways. I wished I could be a musician at times; I wished to be a nobleman; I wished I could be so influential that puts my life in danger all the time for the thrill. I wished I was somebody in my past life; and I wish I can still be somebody who does something.

Don't you look down on Osama, despite his notoriety, he did make people in the security industry rich. He made the media rich. Even the bad guys can become the good guys to some. It's funny that bad guys have supporters too, and the supposingly good guys make enemies or people hates them for some reason.

I do admire people for their courage and brilliance to make a difference and to stand out. It doesn't matter if they are good or bad.

I have a life that I consider good-average; for things that I have that many don't; and for things that I wished I could have that people have but I don't.

But life is like that. You have to be satisfied with what you have.

Conventional

I guess the environment that I'm brought up is of the conventional one. My parents have the conventional way or sustaining their financial status, in other words, SAVE and let the money grow in the BANK.

Well that happens to be for the yesteryear. Today we need to break out of these conventional shell and adopt the modern way of sustaining our finances. Banks are not so generous anymore and the interest that they give cannot even cope with inflation and the high standards of living. My parents don't understand the meaning of Net Present Value (NPV). They think that if you have 1 million, but putting it in the bank to reap interest it's gonna make you financially stable. I believe many of your parents are like that.

I can never talk to them about money, their concept and mine is different. We need to be proactive to get the best deals. Of course saving plays the core of investing in some prospective business.

Back to some other issues. People here just cannot accept facts. They are real hypocrites. If you cannot accept the fact that you're cheap and stupid, let it be. Many people don't have the guts to tell people things face to face.

The stupid thing to do

I had problems typing using my laptop's keypad. Some keys are not working especially the qwerty row. You know how frustrating it is when you can type a complete word and you have no idea what happened.

I thought it was some virus attack. I scanned, and slammed the laptop, restarted it a few times, logging in with virtual keyboard. I failed. So I reformatted and it was still the same. I had no other idea so I went to the nearest Asus centre and they confirmed that the keyboard is malfunctioning. And to fix it I need to go to the service centre, queue, wait and pay 300 bucks just to fix it.

To me, #1 is the hassle, #2 its not worth the money to fix a 2.5 years old laptop when it's about time to change to a new one. And I'm probably changing to a desktop after all these years at uni. Finally got a USB keyboard which is as small and i'm having problems typing. Freaking keyboard isn't so user friendly at all.

The moral of the story is, no matter how advanced technology can be, the hardware is not going to last you very long. It used to be Moore's law that the processing speed doubles every 1.5 years, then it became invalid because tech companies progressed way much faster than what Moore predicted.

Even Apple's releasing their toys one by one, adding one feature at a time just to make people buy and buy. Every year something gets improved, not in a significant way, but people still goes for it. Apple is just doing a damn bloody good job at marketing. They aren't the best but people just want them.

So how could you make people want you?

Football vs Business

Dad was asking why there's so many football matches all year long, as if it doesn't stop, and proceed to say that it is a very bad game where people place bets and gamble and make people stay up late night to watch 22 men after 1 ball.

Quickly as usual I replied to him, that football is just like business - Rich people buys the club, own shares of the club, making deals with other club's bosses and shareholders on who should win and how the score would be. People like us place bets based on the statistics and hoping the odds were in favor to us.

Most people call that GAMBLING.

Same goes to rich people who buy and own company(ies), main shareholders decide when they have to make money, when they have to make news for share prices to drop, big shareholders could do anything that favours them, list the company, and we get minority shareholders, who also wants a share to gain. And we people buy shares based on news, speculation and statistics also.

Most people call that INVESTING, I call that GAMBLING too.

So, in conclusion:

Football Club = Public Listed Company
Owners of a football club = Main shareholders of a company

Gamblers = Minority shareholders of a company
Bets based on odds from statistics = Buys share based on market statistics and rumours.

There's no difference for both. People love gambling.

What's next?

Catching up with time

OH AM GEE (OMG) which is widely used these days by almost everyone in the new generation. Need to be playing catch up with time on the must dos and leave behind those unrelated-unimportant stuff like blogging. Which has gone a long way being something personal and I would like to tone down significantly so as to not being to available to the public to search for the word "the nth dimension" or " my name" . It's purely avoiding certain aspects that could possibly land me into trouble.

I am considering to do at 180 degrees change and re-brand into something else, like metamorphosis, and have to be very careful with words, or the identity.

I have been super stressed out lately for some reasons that is slowing me down. All the internet connection, naggings and stupid things that I have to do is really killing me and I am really considering moving out to an apartment which cost no more than RM200k, is possible the cheaper the better coz it's for short term occupancy with the intention of renting it out when I move to my landed house when I decide to start a family. I need to have space of my own, privacy and personal time to meditate. People like me needs alot of meditation to cool down the fiery temper that not many people can take it. It's a born within thing that might be some cravings from my past life.

I have been also reading on a book on rebirth, reincarnation and how it affects the past, present and future. Some religion disputes it but I'm a true Buddhist devotee and I believe in one of the world's oldest religion that talks about logic, peace, and the balance of life, the middle path. I do not believe in others purely because they have been in conflict themselves and the inferiority inside them that causes all the world's conflict for centuries. Their fundamentals aren't strong enough and they can only blame each other for the miseries and sorrows to mankind.

I do believe somewhere in this vast dimension, the intersection or union in concept does co-exist like the Venn diagram does. There are things that mathematics model can't prove.

God can. Doesn't matter whether it's your God or my God. We will just be calling out for O-M-G all the time while we are alive.

Over-analytical

Being analytical is going to give us added advantage. But being over analytical, makes you a sad person. Because when you think too hard, when you analyze too much, and when you take every single detail so seriously, it shows that you are insecure, and always wanting to show off that you are not left behind, you're not stupid.

People at the low level analyze too much. They can even tell you how many pubic hair they have and how their pubes grow and the protein structure.

People at the high level looks at the big picture, makes things simple, layman and easy for everyone to understand. A ball is a ball, the general public does not want to know what's it made from, how much air it has inside, how much pressure to pump. They just want the feel of the ball, and it only matters that it scores with the right skill.

Sometimes I feel humiliated that some people over underestimate my ability to make decisions and conclusions. Of course I feel more superior and I have the whole picture seen, while some others just love to dwell 10 feet below and tell me just one small part of what I see.

Shame on you. Why try so hard to prove yourself? I'm not interested to know how knowledgeable you are, most of those info is basically useless.

Formality vs Casual

Sometimes, people just have to differentiate between what's formal and what's casual. You cannot be using the same thing at work with people you hang out with. It's nonsense and show's the immaturity in one who tries and tries so hard to prove themselves.

That's called the inferior complex. People with inferior complex are always on the defense mode. But on the defense mode, they will show excessive offensive behavior to prove that they are not a loser or a weak person. The cover up mission is mostly being disliked by most as we human beings are born to be natural at some point.

Inferior people just have to put up to the fact that they are scared of many things, they are scared of people looking down on them, and they are afraid of embarrassment. No one wants to be in this situation. And the offensive behavior make people disrespect you.

The psychological phenomena applies to a person who has experience of being bullied physically or degraded mentally, most often from young. For example when others called you by a name such as coward, useless, loser, idiot, bastard, weak ass, shit face, or son of a bus driver etc.. it's sort of mental demotivating, eventually the victim would turn out to be one, or when they realize that they do not want to be that person, the offensive behaviors will emerge.

One example I observed - That all Liverpool fan/supporters, who have been supporting the club from the 90s till present, presents a similar trait. All because they use to be a BIG TEAM, and never achieved any success from the 90s onwards, rivals' supporters started to brand them as losers/incompetent team, Liverpool fans would try all means to prove otherwise. It's not that fans from other clubs wishes to brand Liverpool as losers, it's all because of their supporters' sour grape/sore loser attitude that makes enemies.

But we all know, we do not need the facts that Liverpool is not a weak club, we look at the big picture, who wins matters, not how, and history is history, leave it to your grandfather's era.

Right, who wins or lose is none of my matter, but I'm just being another realistic person who accept the facts of life, that Manchester United has better achievements as of today. In the future, who knows?

Kiasu syndrome, I believe entering the new lunar year, all of us would somehow stumble upon articles on Feng Shui of the year. From the big picture to the very detail of every animal sign, zodiac.

Here are some of my predictions of the year, based on SKL* theory:

1) There will be alot of natural disasters, bizarre weather
2) There will be lots of flood happening
3) There will be lots of volcano erupting, thus disrupting airlines
4) Many lives will be lost
5) Many lives will be born, especially in India where their main objective is to conquer the world, with population.
6) There will still be high unemployment rate over the world
7) US and China will start their cold war
8) North Korea will continue to kacau South Korea
9) There will be more terrorist attack
10) Facebook will have more users
11) More crime, cyber crime
12) More advanced gadgets will be released, particularly iPhone 5
13) More new car models will be released
14) More leaks from WikiLeaks
15) China's economy will continue to grow
16) No major football tournament
17) Property prices will continue to soar
18) Consumer prices will continue to hike
19) Oil price in Malaysia will continue to rise, in order to become high income nation through the very clever ETP, by Najib Razak, and his NKEA, IKEA whatever lah!
20) More poor people have no food to eat

Shanghai - the commercial hub of China. The place I was at is called Pu Xi, which is an hour away from Pu Dong, where the airport is situated. We were chauffeured in an Audi A6 from the airport, and I had the whole room to myself with King Size bed.

Weather was somewhere between -2 to 4 deg Celcius, and it snowed 3 out of the 6 days I was there. Nope this time there weren't much time to go around and explore Shanghai and I WILL be going back again sometime soon, if time and finances allow.

The next 3 days I'll be at Trader's Hotel. House's nearby but I aint stayin' at home given the opporunity to check in into one of town's best hotel. For work of course, if you'd ask me to pay, I would have stayed here anyway. Superb!

Next week up, Shanghai for a week and am expecting the best hospitality from a global organization. Top class programmes and facilities. But I do not like winter =(

We use brains to solve problems, not mouth. Sometimes I find that family can be a nuisance when it comes to quarreling and arguments when there's irresponsible person who does not play their part. And when parents want to teach their kids, they do not resort to their brains in solving problems, but making problems worse by raising their fuckin voices and taking money as a topic to threaten their children.

Stupid mistake. Kids nowadays do not take that as a solution. And parents shall stop making problems worse by talking and talking and talking, and taking the issue round and round and do not come to a conclusion. Stupid mistake number 2. Taking history and repeating all over again, mistake number 3,

I think there should be a modern parenting class for couples to attend and they have to pass with distinction before they can legally get married and have kids. If I'm the government I would make this a law and whoever doesn't pass the test and gets married, worse still get kids, they shall be fined to do community work. The whole rational is just to reduce social problems initiated from family.

If you have no money or financially unstable, just forget about getting married and having kids.
If you are not ready to teach your kid and solve problem, use contraceptives, be it condom or the pill.
If you are not up to the level to handle probably problematic child of yours, don't give birth.

I always wonder why the hell we are in this world, it's just to solve problems that god knows who can solve. Everyday is about problem solving. You wake up, to solve problems. Finish solving one problem, you get another. You solve it and end your day. Sleep, and wake up again the next day to repeat the same damn thing. Use constructive methods to solve problem, I hate it when parents become too old fashioned and keep on using old ineffective method to solve family issues.

Everyone loves to hear nice things, even when they are your enemy or competitors. No one like to hear bad things, even if it's not about themselves. That's why you get all the good news from the newspapers about the ruling government and not the opposition, it makes the ruling party look nice for marketing purposes.

I'm beginning of having the phobia of starting a family with kids because I do not know if I can handle it.

5 and a half more hours, a new decade starts. No way to stop time, no way to turn back. 2010 has been a plain boring year for me, of course there are ups and downs but it's pretty plain. A year of spending on unnecessary things and wasting time.

I got involved in more tasks in work, but it's somehow not challenging enough. I enjoy at times, I hate it at times. It's quite subjective to describe but I'm relatively happy with the amount of wage I'm getting versus the amount of work load.

My favourite quote of the year :

"When u start catching small fishes, all the small fishes will come to you, why not go for the big fish"

I find it somewhat meaningful as for not to spend so much effort on small matters especially on work and even on relationships. Doing the most important thing that will show the result to everyone matters most.

I bought a house this year. Not luxury but enough to call it mine. And also added another car to my list of ownership, which is somewhat better than a local made car. Don't know why but I'm just super biased towards our local maker (you know who).

I wish to acquire another property in 2011 if everything goes well. I also wish to set sharper sight on good bargains on the stock market and hopefully luxury items could be paid off by the earnings from the economy. MBA is also on my mind and I'm yet to decide if I should take up some finance course.

Well, well, wishing all of you peeps a wonderful year ahead, party hard and go wasted!

How time flies, last year's Christmas was just like yesterday, and we had another barbecue this time around. And I had 20 over peeps at my place. I prepared some to feed the guests, amongst the food that they had are:

Appetizer:

Bruschetta - French Baguette topped with salsa comprising of diced tomatoes, onions, celery, cucumber and parsley seasoned with black pepper, less capers and cheese for topping

Salad:

Fresh Romaine, lettuce, golden butterhead, baby spinach, mint and oranges for the refreshing and sweet element, served with dressing made from lemon juice, lemon zest, orange juice, orange zest, salt, pepper, finely chopped garlic, honey and blend all the taste together with peanut oil or you can choose extra virgin olive oil. Would be good if I had remembered the olives and some anchovies.

Mains:

Pork Satay - 1.5kg of pork belly marinated with 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce, 2 tblspns of light soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of sesame oil, finely chopped onions, a pinch of salt and generous amount of freshly ground black pepper. 6 hours in the refrigerator before it hit the grill on low medium heat.

Char Siew - BBQed pork Chinese Style, marinated in my own recipe for 6 hours before grilling it to perfection and served with it own char siew sauce and coriander and mint leaves.

Barbecued Pork Ribs - Marinated with finely chopped garlic, onions, cumin powder, brown sugar, light soy sauce, finely chopped coriander, salt, black pepper. This is instrumental: when on the grill, get it done under direct heat and glaze with any barbecue sauce that you can get every 2 minutes evenly on all the sides with large surface area, turn it around every 2 minutes.

Chicken Breast Meat - Marinated in plain yoghurt and orange juice with orange zest and chopped coriander
for 6 hours before grilling. Timing is everything. Pat it dry on kitchen towels before grilling. 8 minutes each side with skin side down first. Once off the grill let the breast meat rest for 10 minutes before slicing it and garnish with fresh basil or mint and tomatoes, serve with barbecue sauce.

Last but not least there was also Chicken Wings marinated with cayenne, salt, pepper, light soy sauce, chopped garlic and onions (Or their respective powders) and calamansi juice. Served with grilled onions and green peppers.

Barbecue has never been go good. We had lots of beer and whisky and coconut rum mixed with coke.

See, I need a new phone because I can no longer tolerate Nokia. Their interface really spoils my mood. It hangs, and it's response is way too slow, entertainment wise it's not as good as an iPhone, processing wise it's not as marvelous compared to BB. The only thing I like about E72 is the long battery life. I can live with it for 3-4 days without charging it.

I've never really owned something that people called luxury.

I can easily afford a gym membership, but I know I will not have the discipline and enthusiasm to make it there every week. After all the hassle driving to Mid Valley through all the traffic and finding parking I could just forget about it. But I really needa work out as my mum and girlfriend is calling me FAT.

Yes, fat's the word. My body is just being mean to me.

I would like to put up a good CPU and a large LCD in my room for good. I have a laptop but it's permanently on my table.

I have never owned a game console in my life, not yet, maybe will soon. Oh no, I did own a Nintendo Gameboy when I was 12. I recalled my childhood days playing basketball and swearing in flowery languages.

Hardship In Malaysia

I would not deny Najib's intelligence as the Prime Minister of Malaysia. To me he's also human and he could not be perfect to please everyone, he has done a good job so far and the nation shall acknowledge this. It's just as simple a showing gratitude to someone who has done something good.

Despite focusing on the nation's economic power and enhancing international ties with world leaders, and all the "marketing" the media has been doing for him, there's still a universe of issues for him to achieve. Not just boosting our economic power at international level but also boosting the national income significantly. Income per capita should have surpassed the RM 28k mark years back. If it's not because of past leadership which planted the wrong seed of corruption and spoon-feeding plus racial conservation a country like this would have easily been Asia's economic power surpassing Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and even our nearest neighbours - Singapore.

The amount of resources and condition that we have is vast, Palm Oil, Natural Gas, Natural Rubber, Logs, Sun, Tropical weather all year long just to name a few. It would be an ideal place for development unlike seasoned countries in the north and south. It's so true that humans wont appreciate when they have the best things around them, it's only when those who does not have it would find ways to have them. The Europeans have conquered the Asians in the 1500s-1900 for minerals, Malaya for tin ore. Now the Americans, mentally and internationally. Soon it will be the China Chinese.

There's still more than half the population in Malaysia who slogs just to make ends meet. Inflation prevails in contradicting to the value workers are getting. I'm not complaining about mine as I am decently compensated by an American firm, just voicing out my empathy when I see those who has to cycle around collecting trash, old women begging, elderly uncles cycling around selling goods and foreigners from Nepal and Bangladesh walking from table to table trying to sell watches, alarm clocks, socks, pens. Hard work, no doubt. But how much can we help?

As time goes by who knows what will happen and I believe that many lives still are not protected and the government has to do something. Some may blame the individual for not working hard while young and what they have to do today is only what they deserve. How untrue is that. Many times it's not that you're wealthy means you'd worked hard all your life. Some just don't need to work hard and wealth keeps pouring in; while some were born smart yet lack the luck of becoming wealthy. So blame it on luck?

For an individual, yes. Lots of factors contributes to someone's well being. Ancestry and your DNA has a big role to play. For a country, it's DNA lies in the hands of the people, more importantly, the government. If the government has the wrong plans, the country sees a gloomy future. It all starts with the ideology, then education for breed the right leaders and people. How did the ideology caused brain drain is a big question mark till today.

A simple one, why people who can afford it prefers to study abroad and work and even settle there permanently? Why politicians don't send their kids to our Local Universities? And why is it so hard for Malaysians to enter their Malaysian Public universities than foreigners from the middle east? Americans and Europeans and even the Japanese or Singaporeans will never select Malaysia as their first choice education hub. Severe talent outflow from a country could directly mean slow progress. Singapore is able to accommodate education for their people, in addition to that, top Malaysians and China Chinese. FYI, Singapore has got no natural resources like we do.

When is our education and higher education minister going to do something about our education? From BM to English and now back to BM for Maths and Science, what is this? Being a Malaysian is not easy as we have to deal with ridiculous rationale from brainless policy makers. They treat education as trash and kids like jokers by making unnecessary changes. BM is as important, make it a compulsory subject to pass, but not to play around with Maths and Science. Cut off the subjects which are no use to the work force and a developing country. Spend the taxpayers money in building more quality universities to accommodate ALL Malaysians, then the remaining for foreigners. Send the public figures' sons and daughters to public universities instead of Wharton, RMIT, Yale, Manchester etc. Prove to the people. Kudos to Singapore for landing Tan Zhongshan. Malaysia, where's your 18A1, 21A1 or even 200A1 students?

The other thing that infuriates me is the increasing numbers of Gurkha guards in the mushrooming neighborhoods. Why would we need them if the country is safe and the police force is doing a fantastic job. Can't they play CSI or even CIA? I mean the good side to it, not the bad ones. Spending millions on them getting Evolutions and facilities should bring us less foreign guards, these guard know nothing about English or BM, how did they come in to Malaysia first thing? I'm sure many of us have been harassed by cops on tiny little stuff. If the police force is being marked like an exam paper, it would be a mere 5% (Fail) to me. Actions are slow, and service is not so user friendly, and they keep telling people to cooperate with them when they rarely give a pleasant smile. Mind me, I'm referring to the majority, not all of them. Most of the time, the good ones have no choice but to be the same feather as the flock. Why spend RM5 billion on another 100 stories Warisan Merdeka for the Malaysian Book of Records? We'll just see until it completes.

Looks like Najib or even if Anwar shall PR come to power has to choose the right people and not just some Tan Sri or Datuk Seri who has no idea on what's going on with the country. The Chinese says - Paper cannot withstand fire. You'll bring all these regrets to your grave. We need leaders who would make Proton at least at Par with Toyota or Honda, not necessary Lamborghini or Maserati. What's the point of taking people's trash as your new toy? Proton Inspira? Not inspiring enough. Where are all your engineers? Died from Lotus poisoning? See, these are all International-Big-Mouth's fruit from the seed he planted when he was in power.

And I say, imbecile individuals cannot run the government.

Financial Planning

I swear to my god that I never knew that financial planning could be one hell of a mess. It could go up your head and make you nuts but it all depends on your objective in the long run. I have an objective which serves several purposes and when it comes to allocation of funds and prioritization, it's even harder coz the wrong allocation/proportion on savings and expenses could mean that either:

a) you save alot and you end up eating shit every month,
b) you spend alot and you end up eating shit at the most crucial period (once or twice),
c) you spend moderately so you do not have to eat shit and end up having a decent amount of savings in your bank, but not satisfying yourself enough.

Which one sounds nicer? To eat shit every month? Or to only eat shit when you're really in need of funds?

To me, (b) sounds better =), although I know it's not the best thing to do. You'd all just have to try that once in your lifetime and that will be the last time you wanna be in deep shit. Heck, they say you don't learn until you'd experienced it yourself. Some of us had already experienced this in our younger times, hence the difference in perception and value of money. It's not the root of all evil but the lack of it becomes the root of all evil (jealousy, kiasu syndrome, selfishness, rivalry, war etc etc). Why do you think people go to war for? The US entered Iraq for black gold, duh?

Plan ahead, but do not over analyze and strategize because when things go wrong even after proper planning and expectations, you'd only have yourself to blame, and disappointment is only going to haunt you, for a short period of time if not long.

I prefer the estimation method, I'm happier playing the guessing game. The end result might just surprise you.

Keeping Things Simple

Everyday we wake up either to attend classes or for work, our brains starts its engine automatically by thinking "what problem is waiting for me to solve". We study, we analyze, we think, we know the answer, we solve it.

Think you're smart enough? Think again. Those days in the 60s -70s-80s, when you know alot, even if the knowledge you got was from stone age, you'll be a valuable asset to everyone around you. They call you a genius. Come on, that was the Generation X. You don't need a cert to make a fortune, your ancestors who came here probably worked their ass off and acquired land for their descendants. You dad probably had not have the chance to enter university at that time, but with sufficient knowledge and intelligence, he'd was able to make a fortune in anything.

These days things aren't the same. Some think that they know alot and are very good at analyzing problems, being a strategist and hoping to make full use of their acquired knowledge. They want to play it safe by doing what is safe. When everyone thinks that oil and gas is so damn good no matter how or what qualifications they have, they must claim that they are in the Oil & Gas industry, because it sounded glamorous and they think people look up to them with big paychecks. Remember those times when we were young we use to count how long a relationship lasts? Well even married couples as old as 80 counts. It never seems to be difficult to allow a relationship to stand the test of time. I've seen a "Crash"(1-day relationship), "Puppy" (2 weeks relationship), the "Switch-Relationship" (On-Off-On-Off-On-Off x 100), the "Glue"(Never-break) relationship etc.., and personally have been in a 2 week puppy-love to a 2.5 years BGR. Things just happen throughout our lifetime, people come and go. Some are just meant to be.

Well I've learned in the past, if you care too much about how long you are together with your partner, it'll never last. Because you're just counting how much you're giving and wanting more in return.

Lesson learned - Just let it be, and be an adult.

Trial run for Char Siew roasted in oven. Rating? SUPERB! Just look at those colour, no artificial coloring, it's all with basic ingredients such as honey, light soy sauce, thick soy sauce, rice wine, oyster sauce, chopped garlic, oil, and spices.

And I have marinated for tomorrow's barbecue, this time on charcoal grill.

And this baby here's the marinade for my pork belly that's gonna go onto the grill to be smoked. Key ingredients - Teriyaki sauce (Light Soy, rice wine, sugar), finely chopped garlic+onion+parsley extract with cooking oil.

And it's already sitting in my fridge for the grand finale. woo hoo!

It's next Monday. And I'm makin the best barbecued pork ribs, pork chops, char siew, pork satay, succulent honey glazed chicken wings, chicken satay and grilled vegetable salad.

No ordinary barbecue like the norm does - 10 people surrounding the grill with their own chicken wings and sausage. Mine is purely, I do, you eat. I love barbecuing, and cooking!

Jealousy vs Envy

It's very obvious to differentiate between a person who is jealous and one who is envy. Envy makes someone better; jealousy makes someone worse.

It applies to every situation in life, be it career success, financial success, relationship success. Envy helps you to set realistic goals; jealousy 'helps' you to ruin everything you have ever had.

I envy those who has lots of friends, and are able to be in touch all the time, because myself aint someone who can maintain close friendships, and not being able to sustain a relationship( I mean people-people kinda relationship, not the bfgf thingy). I used to value friendship when I was younger because everyone seem to be true, those days we were young, and I would get upset if I get into an argument with my friends; it's not the case anymore, although I still cherish and value some of those whom I truly respect, but not those who are in a constant mode of self-denial and self-indulgence.

I have never been jealous nor being kiasu to compare results and being upset when people are better than me, I was in the same class with the smartest girl in school and she sat right in front of me in class, and I still envy her of her brains till today, not jealous coz I would never compare. And I'm happy with what I get because I know I've tried my best. But not to some, they would constantly compete and want to beat others in terms of results. So what if you did?

I set a target, get a benchmark for my standard, and get to it. What about you?

I had been jealous in love relationship before, and it turned out sour, very bad, and it was not nice. But love is just something that is so hard to control, especially your feelings when you realize that your love cheats on you. Yet, ultimately it's how you handled the relationship. Being jealous will just make things worse. We just have to be aware that we are in a real world, and accept things as it happens and get on with life, no point pondering into the past and getting emotional.

Pointless to judge people of their own success and what they have, it doesn't mean that if I'm driving a Mercedes now at this age so it's not my own effort of having one. It's just so shallow to think of the age-capability thingy.

What to do in Phuket

1. Get yourself Beer, nothing but beer, the weather is effing saunatic. And it's CHEAP!

2. Eat. Thailand generally has their own unique food like fried rice, all sorts of Tom Yam, pork, fried food, unlike Malaysia and Singapore's feud over silly Chicken Rice, Char Koay Teow etc etc.

The best Tom Yam soup should be clear, non-murky, and smells of the original essence of bay leaves, ginger, onion, lemongrass, tomatoes, chili, and prawns.

Pork burger, from McDonald's, or from their 7-11 mart which sells RM2 pork burgers.

3. Go on a boat trip, either to Phi Phi Islands, or Similan Island. Snorkeling, swimming, chicks watching, sun tanning are the things that everyone does. It doesn't matter if jellyfish exists, once you see the crystal clear sea water, that's where you would wanna jump into. Their magnificent view around the islands would dwarf Malaysian islands, except for at Sabah, which I heard it's quite scenic, but I've not set foot before. Shall we?

4. Sight seeing. Phuket City tour is available at an affordable price. You get breathtaking view of nature. Then followed by several locations where you get to buy local specialties such as the cashew nut factory and their premium outlet (which ain't cheaper than normal) etc.

Temple. Being a Buddhist country, it's obvious they would have rich culture of Buddhism architecture.

5. Go to Patong, if you're not already staying at Patong. It's the most happening, and the busiest of the whole of Phuket. And it's also the place with the highest Caucasian concentration. Patong beach is the area which was most affected by the 2004 tsunami.You could still see the after effects of tsunami if you're observant enough.

Nevertheless, people still come and go, it's a really nice place with be with friends. Do some water sports, paragliding, body surfing etc.

6. Nightlife at Bangla Street, Patong. It's one stretch of pubs, bars, with variety of Tranny Show, Banana Show, Ping Pong Show, Erotic Show offers. And it's so damn cheap that you'd wished you had lived there forever. Clubs in KL, charge you kao kao for entry, pours you a cheapskate in house drink, and no "shows"; that's exactly the other way round in Phuket.

See the word TIGER? Hell yeah it's year of the Tiger. Roar!

That's pretty much at the surface only. It's more than meets the eye.

7. Get yourself more liquid!

8. Massage. It's something that tourist could not miss because they are really good, and it's very very cheap. An hour thai massage(no hanky panky) cost around 250-350 baht, a 1.5 hour aromatherapy massage costs only 750 baht. Clean place, comfy, what more would one ask for?

Manicures and Pedicures at 350 baht.

Ronald McDonald is also a devoted man in Thailand. In Malaysia, Ronald is a boring man.

4 Days Up North

3 main beaches in Phuket which are fully packed with tourist are, Patong, Karon, Kata. Our place in Kata was the quietest among all others and that gave us a peace of mind of the non-stop bombarding of Tranny Shows, Ping Pong Shows, Banana Shows etc. that we get in Patong. Life without internet doesn't seem to be too bad at all. I could live without the internet there.

Kata is 10 mins driving away from the 2 other beaches. And all of them possesses white, fine sandy beaches with mostly white people. White ladies sun tanning, nice bodies, but couldn't spot any topless ones. Waves in the morning at Kata was 2 metres high, seriously, taller than I am when it was right in front of my eyes, and that was one hell of fun. How I wished it could be higher, at the exception that it is not tsunami, I would like to surf someday.

There's just too many packages offered by infinite agencies for their most famous Phi Phi Islands tour. Anything between 1500-2000 baht should be a good deal. You might even get cheaper ones, but to me it's worth the while, thinking that these people also work hard to earn the money. I'm not the kind who would "squeeze" every drop of sweat and blood from people, because I would not want my employer to do the same to me. With that, boat transfer, snorkeling gears and even lunch, drinks are all provided. I would say it's far cheaper than what Pulau Redang or Lang Tengah could offer.

Their crystal clear water, surrounding the islands, lagoons and bays. There's no need to even impose any rules that only wealthy people can go, it's how you use your brains to make the place clean.

Touring Phi Phi Islands. Entering and exiting specific snorkeling and scuba diving spots.

Khai Island, as expected, lots of butts and bikinis under the sun. I could just do away one whole day bird watching ^_^

Sadly, Similan Island is abit too far away, and that will be for the next trip, and more shows at BangLa.

It's the best way to relax, for me at least. I can just do away with the beach, swimming, and observing people - sunbathing and swimming. Of often do you get to swim from the shore, to somewhere few hundred metres away without snorkeling gears, just a pair of fins, and goggles would be good, not even Pulau Redang nor Lang Tengah you could do this.

Okay now that I'm back from my first vacation ever since I started working, there's more things than ever to do.

I'm so scared to check my mails, plus the work load, not to say there's alot, but I'm kinda phobia towards it.

So the month of May-June-July would be movie marathon months, with World Cup in June-July. I don't know if I can afford to wake up in the middle of the night to watch football like those days when i was back in uni. I kinda miss those moments while I was studying, I keep telling this to my girlfriend and she's like "you're mad, working is so much fun with money coming in."

Yeah, the fun part about working is that I earn and spend my income, but it's all on my own with more responsibilities and expenses to cover. I still miss those time where I get to sleep late, play games with housemates, I had the best housemates ever, go out for late night drinks, almost everyday, watch football with those guys, go for class and have breaks in between, get sleepy in class and the feeling of waiting for class to end is just priceless. Now, it's the feeling of ending the day that matters, and you know there's alot more to do the next day, and then the next...until when it ends upon retirement.

The only thing I regret is that I did not make an effort to get to know more people back in Uni, I was kinda introvert and I did not practice active listening cum caring for others feeling, I was in my own world, I was kinda those who didn't want to interfere with others problems too. It was just enough taking care of my own studies and relationships.

Those were the days.

It's 12 May today.

It's time to lose most things to get everything back, once and for all. Hur hur...

It has been a short week to work for only 2 days, oh, technically 1 full day only, where 2 of em were replacement leaves, and Friday would be labour's day.

Yeah, we work like a labor. But while the company is good and bosses are all supportive, and there's no issue of politicking nor issues about money, I'm happy with this American company, see, we get the day off when public holiday falls on weekend. If it were to be a Cinapek(Chinese) company, and according to labor's law, Saturday is just an official working day. One thing about Chinese companies, TYPICAL Chinese bosses, it's relatively easy to climb up the ranks when you know how to "kiss ass/polish their shoes" like the Chinese says. I'm a Chinese but I disagree some of their ways when it comes to being generous and management.

For people like me it would be depressing to work in that kind of environment. And if I have the mentality like them, I would not comment so much on what I call the Typical Chinese Companies (TCCs). I believe the job that comes to you suits whatever character and quality you are, there's no point whining so much when it's the choice that you've made. All you should say is that "I regret". And try not to repeat the same mistake again by asking good questions, be intelligent and probe on the next interview.

If we don't learn from mistakes, then we shall be silent, talk less, listen more.

And one of the reasons why employers(MNCs) are so reluctant to hire Local Varsity graduates is because they lack the level of maturity and presentation skills, cum potential job hopping that could not hold on long enough on a job, which is also a burden because of all the time spent on training.

#3 Quality of qualification/knowledge
#4 Easily influenced by unnecessary comparisons
#5 Gets bored easily
#6 Do not know what they actually want, confusion
#7 Failing to notice their weakness, which has to be fixed.

At least I realized my weaknesses early. And more to be rectified. I learn to listen, and I learn from listening, to learn how to be constructive, instead of analyzing every aspect that might lead to a negative decision making, blindly without realizing the reality/practicality. Do not also compare oneself to another because everyone is different. It doesn't mean that others earn more money so can you, it takes time and experience, plus luck, to be where people are. Also, try not insult others' profession by thinking that you're the real professional, when you're also a laborer like anyone else.

Back to back working trips on the weekends could be compensated with a good weekday rest accompanied with good spa and massage. I've gotta start acting than just talking in planning my finances.

I'm a very simple person, who like to make things less complicated. I would not think too much when things are out of my control.

I live by the philosophy of balance of the yin and yang because everything has to be at the balance in order to be in harmony.

I live with the principles of being practical and not too over confident over short term experiences. "Toddlers learn how to walk, they know how to walk, but they are yet to know everything about walking"

Never say that "I know everything" because learning is a process and learning never ends. You don't wait for people to tell you what to learn, it's you that has got to find things to learn and be exposed to more of the world rather than just living in your own box and thinking that you know every inch of the box well.

Never think that losing money is a failure in investment because if we don't pay to learn, we will never learn. Treat it as a learning curve - Lose, lose less next time, and lose to the minimum. Those who think that money can only come in to their pockets and can never go out will never gain. - Naive

Thinking too hard will only make you a sad person. Trying too hard will make you a failure. And don't be an arrogant cum kiasu person.

Some just have the tendency to stick to people who are well to do, who earns more money than they are. Even when looking for partners, they will find one who's from a very well to do family. Just because they think that they can be so called "high-class" and also hoping to benefit from these "richer" people, also hopes to get the first hand information on where to find money without losing a single cent.

They definitely look down on moderate-wealth people or those who can't speak good English because they think that these people would not be able to make money for them. Even if they have friends from the moderate-to-do background that's because they need attention which others wont give them. And they also look into the profession that you're into.

Well-to-do people are not stupid, they know that parasites have no courage to be on their own, and always wanting to hop on to people's brains and hard work to gain benefit from them, and when there is a loss, he know he is not on his own. I've come across these kind of people who thinks that doing business is so easy and wanting shares from anyone who owns a business or plans to own business in the future, despite they know nothing about it. This joke really makes the day for everyone. The easiest way to fend of such thinking is to tell them that you have "too much money to spend that you don't need more".

Just a word of wisdom, people who has got capital/money/business ideas will not be willing to share what they have with those who know little or none, of selfish people who only thinks for themselves when it comes to the same old word - MONEY.

Want to come up in life?

Try harder, dream less of the unrealistic.

At least I'm not going to include them in my "possible partners" list. It will just lead to conflict of interest. And I hate that kind of personality, filled with jealousy of whatever people has achieved of, and trying too hard to be noble or holy, putting on that silly mask which everyone knows, and can never lose(kiasi + kiasu), hence leads to selfishness and excessive calculative-ness.

is the only word I can think of right now. And it has been a big part of my life ever since I knew how to utter the Chinese bad words from basketball. Playing basketball in Malaysia is truly the fastest way to learn foul languages and that's where you learn how to mix and match the words together. I don't know how many of my friends have been influenced by me and I am truly sorry that I had brought such culture shock to you guys.

Then you learn the Malay and Tamil bad words from Football. And then English bad words from movies.

Oh to your surprise, there's only 4 words that we use for English - Shit, F*ck, Son of a B**ch, B*stard. And then... people starts to get creative by including one's mother and one's uncle to the F bomb.

It's useful towards construction workers, or when you need to mingle around with low class people. But not towards your boss or colleagues and specially your customers. Boys and Girls who ever reads this, don't learn too much.

Things that are bothering me right now there are only 2:
1) the TV
2) the Internet

Question #1:
Is there any way to change all news program to ONE and only ONE and at only ONE airtime? I don't understand the rationale of watching ALL the news in one day, every damn channel when it's the same thing all over the internet and it will be on the papers the next day? And it's not that you're damn affected by the news that they are going to broadcast.

Question #2:
Is there any internet service provider(ISP) that can provide an ultra-fast, reliable line that will build up confidence to the people? With those shitty ISPs that we have now it's less likely that we are able to be productive because it's still affected by streaming and downloads to one person only, the rest are just mere jokers sitting in front of the computer waiting...... and waiting... and waiting.... for the page to load. Time wasting isn't it?

Yes although there are so many claims by certain parties that they have the best broadband and internet service with a "not-so-reasonable" price, yet it's not convincing because of those hidden issues that limits users up to certain amount of data and the line gets cut down to snail speed.

Question #3:
If there's anyone who can provide a fine service that doesn't consume time, able to maintain it for life without disruption, and without limiting data transfer or download speed wherever and whenever, please let me know because I'm willing to pay - any amount that is deemed reasonable to both parties.

There goes March. This has been a long long month for everyone I believe. Looking at the numbers in your bank shrinks as the days get longer really puts us to think that how it slow can life live a life.

At another perspective, from the day everyone gathered for fireworks show, till CNY, and now, the first quarter has already gone. How was your achievement? What have you achieved based on your new year's resolution that you enthusiastically made, and told yourself that you will/can do it?

Things happen, it comes and go. The level of mental fitness that everybody has is different. We need to constantly strengthen our mind, instead of living in the world that you created that you "think" is the most ideal. Don't live in denial, and having your own stand is good but it's most often the thing that people don't like. Just look at Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat vs Chua Soi Lek. People love lies, people love to listen to sweet convincing stuff than hear the truth, whoever can play the game well wins.

"Be a man, do the right thing!" by Russel Peters. if OTK is doing the right thing, then it can be proven that MCA members do not want the right thing to be done. Instead, whatever CSL said, is considered the "Right Thing" to do. But funny isn't it, MCA leaders, cant speak good Mandarin. Just listen to them, 9 out of 10 speaks market Chinese. Leaders? Anyone? And why is Datukship so important to businessmen in Malaysia? And why is everyone looking up to those with the Grandpa title? It's because it gives a context of influence in whatever you do, it eases your life. If there's something other than "Mr." in front of your dad's name, you'll benefit from that, too.

Hypocrisy is a way of life, whether you like it or not, we practice it everyday, unconsciously. Make a big fuss about it and out you go from a circle of friends. One thing i learnt from my job after 9 months, which I believe many are still unaware of, or I'm just slow, mind me, is that life is all about "What people want to hear, not what you want to say". If one is not interested, it totally shuts the door of a 2 way communication.

Despite we live in a modern world, where facilities are vastly available to make lives easy, people don't seem to improve. Those days where you have to send letters by snail mail and communication was super hard to get or too expensive to afford for commoners, people appreciated more of replies, always looking forward for the other side's reply.

Now, where handphones can be purchased at dirt cheap prices, and smses plus calls by service providers are at the competitive level, educated people in town take that for granted.

They abuse it. Stalking people.
They wont answer calls.
They don't reply smses.

These are the educated people, some claim that they are graduates from OVERSEAS, highly civilized country. How are we supposed to deal with these kind of people? Ignore them? That sounds abit lame. To me it's just to make these people irrelevant.

Please, to all educated people out there, have some phone etiquette, or else don't even say that you're an overseas graduate, with first class honours, and working in some big firm. Because you aint going anywhere in life with that kind of attitude.

Karma doesn't mean you do something bad and get something bad in return. It's more of an action reaction thing that things respond. For instance if you live an unhealthy lifestyle you'll get all the problems but if you live healthy you'll be blessed with good body.

The weather these days are killing even standing in the kitchen cooking could get all the sweat out of me, imagine that! How not to believe that the world is gonna end? I now really believe that it's coming soon.

We humans have exploited earth exponentially ever since the industrial revolution took place. The amount of earth dug for precious metals and minerals such as coal, oil and gas, diamonds, steel, soil, rocks is just too much. The conservation of mass and energy clearly states that we only take things from one end of earth, and put it up high in the sky. Look at the amount of sky scrapers around you with the amount of natural disaster coming. How much energy has been wasted there?

2015-16 Oil shall deplete, and now we don't even know if we can live till then. The sun itself might be able to kill us with stronger radiation with the thinning of ozone, plus the rising amount of CO2 gases that blankets our atmosphere trapping heat that will give rise to more CO2. No matter what scientist do to sequestrate CO2 into earth it will be in vain. They are just merely distorting the way earth behaves.

Imagine what happens if you dig part of your flesh from one part to another? Imagine what happens if you pump too much air into your stomach? What happens if you blow too much air into a balloon? Imagine also what happens if you continuously draw blood from your body?

You'll die lah of course.

And i'm sure oil giants are panicking to find new oil fields that could help us sustain another 40 years. Whatever they claim that we have enough oil and blah blah blah are just mere business tactics to control oil price. Even if there's still oil it will be one day where it will not be economical to suck them up, think about ROI. I'm sure they are better economist than I am.

It's also directly related : You dig earth's body, suck their blood and cause pollution that causes the increase in temperature difference, if I'm earth I'm surely to be tulan and merajuk then fall sick and let all these parasites dies. Human activities is just a function of civilization sustainability.

Even if we are able to survive in the next 50 years, evolution will still take place but we are no more like we used to be. The amount of diseases shall overtake our lives, population decreases, and we'll be living in dome like atmosphere that keeps us away from the catastrophic disasters that are happening outside the dome.

The more construction and mining we do, the faster we are facilitating dooms days for modern civilization.

In the year 2500, if humans are still alive, it's be back to square one. You know, and history repeats.

You see, there's this guy who coaches at the pool with me on weekends. It's been a while that he's trying to boss me around when he's not the boss. And today he really got me up my head by telling me to follow "HIS" time to end the class.

Before this few months back he asked me to finish on time, and today he's telling me to follow his time when all I did was to finish on time plus an extra few more minutes. Who the hell he is to tell me to follow his fucking time?

#1 He's not my boss
#2 He does not pay my wages
#3 He's younger than me with the same level of coaching experience
#4 He's not even a national or state swimmer as far as I know, even if he is I bet no one knows him.
#5 He has not graduated with any cert, yet
#6 I've seen many more people than him.

So what's the fuck for telling me what to do when I have no respect for you, young bugger? He puts people into my group as he likes and take anyone whom he is familiar with or likes into his group. You call this a professional? My foot.

It just gets me on my nerve when some shitty chap tries to tell me what do to, and try to humiliate me in front of others. I have a watch, a good one, and I operate base on the SOP set by the academy. I work with logic and interesting interaction. I'm just way too good for anyone like him to tell me things. So shut the fuck up and mind your own bloody business pundek.

Finally I bought the E72. It's supposed to be something to reward myself, however upon getting the phone I'm like no where near excited nor happy that I got something new. Nevertheless, it's a good buy. And I shall look more professional by now =)

Life sucks as of today

Everything is a burden. I thought it was my off day and i could utilize it for some window shopping/shopping since i woke up early. And off to get my new phone but it was all ruined by the thing that saves most of your time, and also waste those precious time you need.

The car.

Fucking frustrated it is when its my off day today, so to say i don't have to work, nor i have to teach swimming. My weekends are now pack with classes but I'm sacrificing my leisure time for those. It's totally consuming up my life. I really hate it. The car is the one thing that human created to save time on a daily basis. But for maintenance and when there's problem with it it does take up your time at the workshop. Real Fuck. It's back at square one in the end.

Was talking to dad on the way back and he was like saying there are things that you need to sacrifice in life. Especially things like that and when we have kids there's even more responsibility to take up. And I told him this generation does not think like they think.

During those days our ancestors bore dozens of kids to help them reduce burden. But these days the kids are burden to us. And we are seeing the drop in population regeneration due to all these factors that influences our thinking and choices. It's so much trouble to have kids nowadays. I love kids and of course I would like to have mine one day, but not anywhere in the near future. I told dad that I'd rather enjoy myself now and spend money on myself and nothing is more important than having enough money.

I have enough of problems and I'm doing things that are in favour for people than myself. Be it at home or at work. I have not being pleasing myself and I'm sick of all those dramas and reality. Annoying people arises, and annoying people loves me. I just don't know why.
